In this role, you will:
- Provide consultancy services to clients nationally and internationally
- Lead project acquisitions; responding to inquiries and developing proposals
- Create LCI data through research and client sources
- Collect data, build LCA models and GHG inventories in SimaPro, assess the results, prepare and present project deliverables
- Provide direction and support to LTS Sustainability Analysts
- Lead and/or Support training activities
- Support SimaPro software sales and service
- Write content for publication on LTS’s website
- Assist in the development of specification of customer-tailored tools working closely with LTS partner, PRe Sustainability on the SimaPro LCA suite of software tools.
What knowledge and experience you will bring:
- University degree in Environmental studies / Analytical studies
- Preferably five or more years LCA analysis working in consulting and/or industry, performing LCAs and related sustainability assessments, managing projects, interpreting and communicating results
- Experience with business development and project acquisitions, from exploratory discussions with clients to proposal development, project scoping/budgeting and delivery of proposal
- A love of sharing knowledge and building capacity in others through experience teaching or managing a team
- Experience with LCA software, preferably SimaPro
- Ability to work as part of a remote team but function independently, adhering to schedules and deadlines
- Familiarity with project management best practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workflow and guide team members on projects
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, preferably with experience presenting client project results and/or case studies in conference settings.
