LCA 101 is intended for those with little to no background in LCA who seek to understand the basics; A great course for those who are just entering into the LCA world or those who work in tandem to LCA practitioners – think R&D, product designers, engineers, etc.
In this course, LCA 101, participants will learn the purpose of an LCA and the steps to conduct an LCA. We will cover life cycle thinking and a basic overview of the four phases of an LCA: Goal & Scope (as dictated by ISO 14040), Inventory analysis, Impact assessment, and Interpretation. The course does not involve modeling SimaPro.
